Biology
Biology: The word biology is formed by two Greek words: bios( “life” ) and logos(“study”). It is a natural science that is dedicated to analyzing the properties and characteristics of living organisms, focusing on their origin and development.
It is a branch of the natural sciences whose purpose is to study living beings and, more specifically, their origin, evolution and properties: genesis, nutrition, morphogenesis, reproduction, pathogenesis, etc. Biology deals with both the description of the characteristics and behaviours of individual organisms and of the species as a whole, as well as the reproduction of living beings and the interactions between them and the environment.
